Welcome - Your journey to insightful readings begins here!

A quick guide to asking questions and setting intentions for your intuitive reading.

Thank you for subscribing to the Cate Asks newsletter. You're curious about having a reading or you are ready and raring to go. Whichever is the case, this first edition of the newsletter is all about housekeeping, tips and clarifications!

All about your question

The quality of your question influences the clarity of your reading. Here are some suggestions of how to frame it effectively:

✅ Do:

Be specific. Instead of “Will I be successful?” try “What steps can I take to achieve success in my career?”
Keep it open-ended. Ask “What do I need to know about my love life?” rather than “Will my ex come back?”
Focus on yourself. The best questions centre on your journey rather than someone else’s choices.

❌ Avoid:

Yes/No questions. Intuitive readings are about guidance, not definitive answers.
Future fixation. The future isn’t set in stone. Focus on insights and possible paths.
Asking in desperation. Approach the reading with an open heart, not fear. Remember, if you're in urgent need or distress, seek professional help immediately.

Setting your intentions

Your mindset matters. Here’s how to align yourself before you formulate your question and when you get your reading:

🌊 Clear your mind. Take a few deep breaths and relax. A calm mind invites clearer insights.

🌟 Be open to messages. You may not always hear what you expect but trust that the guidance is meant for you. Remember, your reading will be done with love and respect and zero judgement.

💡 Set a purpose. Before you ask a question, reflect on what you are truly looking for, is it clarity, reassurance, or direction?

💧 Stay hydrated! Yes, make sure you’re getting enough fluids. That’s just great life advice and simple biology too!

Some inspiration

Here are some sample questions to get you thinking:

  • “What energy surrounds my current path in life?”
  • “What should I focus on to improve my relationships?”
  • “What lessons am I meant to learn from this challenge?”
  • “How can I attract new friends to my social circle?”
